RP/V: New Beginnings

[Eddie]

"Oh isn't this turning into a great dance with you," Ciaran replied. "Well I don't enjoy your company either Chloe and I can't see why anyone else would really."

"You can dance pretty well, I'll give you that. Why don't we just stop talking for the rest of the song so I don't hit you?" Chloe said, not bothering with the false smile anymore.

[Nicky]

Ciaran thought about replying but then he didn't want to be hit by Chloe. He decided that the best course of action would be to keep his mouth firmly shut and just hope that the song would end quickly.

[Rebecca]

Later on...

"You take care, alright?" Susannah said, reaching out to hug Kelly, "Our flight's really early in the morning so I won't call in case I wake you up, but I'll call as soon as we land in Dublin Airport. Make sure those babies stay in there until we get back."
"Suze, I'd be really worried if they did come out within the next two weeks," Liam noted, shook his head and smiled at his sister, "Have a good time. You'd better watch her around all the Guinness, David - maybe just keep her away from pubs altogether."
"Are you kidding? I'm not crazy enough to get between her and a pint of that stuff," David said, "And we're taking both of you out to dinner when we get back, by the way. Small way of saying thanks for everything."

[Eddie]

"So, you want to do something now? Or were you just using me to be your dance partner?" Chloe joked as she walked out of the reception with Daniel. He was cute and she was getting good at this sweet and nice thing if she did say so herself.

At another hotel in Boston...
"Sorry about that, I know we didn't really need to take separate elevators. Can't be too careful though," Aaron smiled as he pulled Janet closer to him, kissing her quickly as they made their way back to her room.

[Nicky]

"They will be staying put for a lot longer I hope," Kelly said hugging Suze back. She stifled a yawn that wanted to escape. "Have a great time in Ireland guys, I'd probably be awake when you phoned. Yeah we'll arrange it all when you get back. I hope it doesn't rain too much for you over there and don't drink too much Guiness. You can tell when you start finding it hard to get to your hotel at the end of the night."

[Rebecca]

"Oh, God, don't say that. It's not going to rain at all," Susannah said, knocking on the nearby doorframe just in case, "Thank you so much, all of you. Because of you guys I even managed to forget that Dad wasn't here."
"It's his loss, after all," Shannon affirmed, "He'll regret it someday that he wasn't here, you'll see."
"We'll see you when you get back," Bridge said, smiling proudly at her sister, "Don't fall in love with Ireland and decide to stay or anything."
"As if! There's like six months left until the election, we'd have to come back whether we wanted to or not," Susannah said, "Hey, has anybody seen Aaron?"
"I haven't seen him practically all day. It's kind of a shame, I wanted to at least say goodbye," David commented, "Maybe something happened with Bree. She didn't look too happy earlier on."
"Bye, Junior! Bye, Bridge! Bye, Laura! Bye, Shannon! Bye, Eve! Bye, Liam, bye Kelly, bye twins!" Susannah called out as she walked away, "See you all soon!"
"There she goes," Shannon said, watching Susannah and David leave, before joking, "Think we'll ever see her again?"
"We'd better, or David O'Brien's going to be posing for campaign shots with a broken arm," Liam said, turned to glance at a tired-looking Kelly, "Should we get going before you fall asleep?"

[Nicky]

Kelly waved bye to Suze and David before she just rolled her eyes slowly at her husband. "Yeah I need to go and grab some sleep," she said quietly. "Suze has had me on my feet all day sorting out all the stuff for her and now I just need to sleep."

[Rebecca]

"So, you want to do something now? Or were you just using me to be your dance partner?" Chloe joked as she walked out of the reception with Daniel. He was cute and she was getting good at this sweet and nice thing if she did say so herself.

"Trust me, Chloe, there's a reason you're the only person I've been interested in dancing with," Daniel said, smiling at her, "I was actually hoping you'd join me for a drink. Come on, I know a great place just a few blocks away."

At another hotel in Boston...

"Well, why stop there? There might be cameras in the corridors, too," Janet teased, although she kissed Aaron even as she walked up towards the door to slot in the keycard. Stepping into the hotel room, she quickly closed the door behind her and decided to save Aaron the trouble by undoing the zipper on the back of her dress and letting it fall to the floor before kissing him again.

Kelly waved bye to Suze and David before she just rolled her eyes slowly at her husband. "Yeah I need to go and grab some sleep," she said quietly. "Suze has had me on my feet all day sorting out all the stuff for her and now I just need to sleep."

"Then I guess we'd better be on our way too. I'm not crazy enough to deprive Kelly O'Connell of sleep," Liam joked, rolling his eyes back at her, "Good night, everybody. Junior, Laura, I think you two should probably get going soon too."
"Why's that?" Junior asked, but then he turned towards where Liam was pointing and broke into a smile. Sean and Megan were both sat at the table where he'd been sitting, and both of them were leaning against the backs of their chairs, their eyes closed and their breathing heavy in a deep sleep.

Susannah breathed a small sigh of relief as the car drove away, tilting her head back to lean on David's shoulder. She'd never minded going to parties and she enjoyed being around lots of people, but even she thought it was nice to have some space to breathe every now and then.
"It's all over," she said quietly, watching David pick up her hand to have a look at her ring, "It went pretty well, right? Apart from that stupid Brian Murray deciding to have it out with my brother."
"He got what he deserved. I don't think anybody's going to running stories about how a pregnant woman slapped some guy at our wedding reception," David replied, smiled at her, "Over? Suze, this is just the beginning."
