Anton Hood

Anton isn't a huge threat physically, comparably skinny to the other male spies. He's a fine example of metrosexuality, primping himself up for a good hour whenever he has the time. He completely abuses his hair, changing it on every whim. His eyes are an annoying shade of greeny-hazel, so he has colored contacts that he puts in his eyes to go with whatever he's wearing that day.

Anton has way too many clothes, something his male friends constantly make fun of. He never had much money growing up, so he went on several shopping sprees once he got his first paycheck from Deveraux and several times a year from that point on. Shirts of every color and design line his closet and he hasn't even worn a lot of them. It's a collection that would rival a small department store even though Anton recently donated a ton of clothing to the Home his sister used to live in.

As one could predict after seeing his morning routines, Anton is the archetype of self-centeredness. His looks are misleading in some ways, though; Anton is successful as a spy because he's ferocious, never taking no for an answer. A rare period of generosity can strike him during the holidays, since they've always been hard for him to get through alone.

Too into himself to worry about girls, Anton rarely actively looks for a relationship. They just happen now and then. He dated a few girls at Deveraux and afterwards, but the relationships rarely lasted long. The girls' most common complaints involved the fact that Anton was detached and more into himself than any of them. Admittedly guilty as charged on both counts, Anton was apathetic to their feelings and concerns and often soon found himself single again.

Anton was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico on the 20th of August, 2092. Anton's dad killed himself when Anton was only nine. His mother took it horribly and became abusive to Anton and his little sister. Anton's grades in school suffered greatly as a result of this; he would've failed the 6th grade if it hadn't been for a teacher who passed him, knowing that failing him would only get him trapped in the system. In spite of all of this, he kept the abuse in the family, always protecting his little sister and even hitting his mother back once.

That teacher that helped him turned out to be the one who offered him a scholarship to Deveraux several years later. He got his sister taken out of their mother's house and into the best foster home in Boston when he got accepted into Deveraux, visiting her whenever he could. He hasn't seen his mother since he was seventeen. When she passed away in 2111, Deveraux understandably gave him a week of leave to attend her funeral in hopes that he'd attain closure on that part of his life. He took a trip to Cabo instead.

While at Deveraux, Anton was far from a model student in the normal classes, nearly failing several of them. The only one he did well in was English, the class his Selector Agent used to teach him. He did much better in the practical classes, especially the ones involving guns. And, despite his size, Anton made strides in his physical skills at Deveraux. He was never the most capable, but always the most determined.
