Description

Appearance

Chloe's long blonde hair and gentle face give the false impression of a woman who is feminine and 'soft'. Standing at 5'9'', her lean, but strong frame is atheistically pleasing. The last time she wore a dress was a quite boring Christmas party, generally wearing something that is comfortable and better suited for her line of work. For days when she's not likely to be shooting anything, Chloe uncomfortably wears skirt suits. She's often in a tracksuit or other comfortable clothing for those other days that tend to get interesting.

Personality

Chloe learned at a young age that being pretty would only get her so far. She knows how to get things done and her actions, not her words, inform people that it's a bad idea to mess with her. She isn't an angry person though, meaning it's hard to gauge her reactions. A simple smile could be genuine, sarcastic, or deadly. Chloe is somewhat reserved, only speaking much around people she's comfortable around.

While not exactly moral, Chloe doesn't enjoy seeing people in pain and refuses to torture them. She doesn't mind killing people, but she will only do it with a gun. She only kills for the mob, usually finding less bloody alternatives to her own problems. Given her demeanour, it isn't hard to guess that she doesn't have many friends. While her co-workers respect her and she is close to some of them, her few friends outside the gang have little idea of what she actually does. All the killing hasn't given Chloe a complex; the fact that she's gotten away with it has. She has a fear of cops and even random people on the street, often wondering if they can see the years of blood on her hands. Some would classify this as guilt - Chloe figures she's just a bit paranoid.

History

Chloe's life started out pretty rough. Born with a heart condition, she spent the first months of her life in and out of hospitals. Although she left the hospital a healthy and active baby girl, the bills took her parents years to pay off and put a permanent strain on their marriage. Her father, Connor, was about as Irish as a man could be. A blue collar worker who spent most of his life in construction, Connor was a man who was rough around the edges. Chloe could count on her father to be anything and everything, except a sounding board. Her mother, Anna, was always in the kitchen, a role she relished in the peak of the marriage and hated near its end. When Anna tried to talk to him about their problems, she asked him if they could go to counselling. He quickly refused, saying he didn't need someone else trying to tell him how to be a husband. Despite how it horrified her parents, Anna asked Connor to leave in 2103, keeping the thirteen-year-old Chloe with her. Even though he only moved to another part of Boston, Chloe's contact with her father was scarce after that. His excuse, which Chloe didn't know until years later, was that he could barely look Anna in the eye without getting upset.

At a boring neighborhood party a couple years later, Chloe first saw Liam O'Connell. At 21, he seemed totally old to her, so she did no more than admire from afar. She kind of forgot about him, moving onto another crush in a few weeks. After hearing about Chloe's woes in keeping a job, her cousin, a low level mobster, started paying her to help him out. She quickly rose ranks in the mob, gaining a reputation for her skill with guns and willingness to use them. Chloe took orders well, and fulfilled them completely and quickly. She finally spoke to Liam O'Connell after an ugly incident with a druggie in 2113 and was again captivated by him. He, just for a second, let her forget who she was. She felt like that little girl again when she'd first saw him, but that moment quickly passed and he showed no such feelings in return. Annoyed at the feelings, which were very unlike her, Chloe suppressed the infatuation and tried to move on, soon becoming one of Liam's most trusted agents. This involved the working together a lot, leaving Chloe to often wonder if he would ever consider anything between them.

Associates

Patrick Graham — Brother (deceased)
Donald O'Connell — Boyfriend (deceased)

Donnie was the youngest of seven O'Connell children and grew up reaping the benefits of being the laid-back, carefree baby of the family. Although when he was younger he was close to both his older siblings, Liam and Susannah, Donnie wasn't ever particularly bright and most recently had distanced himself from both of them. He worked for the Roxbury Gang as a small-time drug dealer, but much to his older brother's disdain could often be found selling in the wrong parts of Boston as well as sampling some of his merchandise himself. Donnie had never been interested in finding a wife and settling down in a long-term relationship until the realisation that his brother Liam was going to become a father gave him a harsh wake-up call. He asked his then-girlfriend Chloe Graham to marry him, but when she refused Donnie ended up turning to drugs and in his altered state was hit by a speeding vehicle. Having suffered severe spinal chord injuries, he later died in hospital.

Ethan McBride — Friend

Arguably the second best assassin in The Roxbury Gang, Ethan McBride is a man of few words. While not as squeamish as his counterpart, Chloe Graham, Ethan doesn't enjoy seeing gore. He'll do just about anything for money, though. He looks the part of an assassin, meaning you'd never suspect it. His weapon of choice is a gun, but he's become adept with knives as well. He's well-known among the gang for his odd behaviour; he once drank blood for $60.

Cassidy Reid — Former Boss (deceased)

Elegant and sophisticated, the former Leader of the Roxbury Gang was, in appearance at least, anything but what would stereotypically be expected of a woman in her position. Very little was known about Cassidy aside from the fact that she had lived in Roxbury her entire life and began making her way up the ranks of the local gang from a very young age, but she rather enjoyed the mystery surrounding her. In fact, much like she did with her seemingly non-threatening appearance, Cassidy often used the general lack of knowledge about her to her advantage. With striking features, wavy red hair and green eyes, Cassidy was still in good shape at forty-five and it was doubtlessly her cold, steady hand that kept the Roxbury Gang functioning. Having worked her way up to Leader, however, Cassidy felt she no longer has to do the dirty work for herself and gave out most of her orders through her right-hand man, Liam O'Connell. She was mysteriously found dead by the staff of the Boston Kitchen, one of the many restaurants she owned, on the 25th August, 2116, with one bullet wound in her stomach and another in her head.
