Daniel Kitsuragi

Danny is tall, muscular, intelligent. He is Japanese-American, and is extremely proud of both cultures. He has a dragon tattoo on his arm. He is a highly accomplished martial artist, especially with weapons, like shinais and the katana, though that is not to say he is unaccomplished with his bare hands either, having a black belt in most areas.

Danny is fiercely loyal and extremely kind, but harbours hatred of most criminals, and believes in the retribution theory. He isn't the funniest guy in the world, but he can make people laugh when he wants them to. He's quiet at first, but when you get to know him he's pretty easy to talk to.

His father was murdered when Dan was a child by a gang, and he lives with his mother, who has raised him well and taught him the self defence that his father never had. After learning what had happened, Dan helped his mother with stuff, and harboured an intense hatred of the killers - before his selection at Spy High, tired of the system, he tracked one of them down, and beat him up. He got the police onto the killer, finally. When he got home, his mother was waiting for him. Dead. The gang had gotten to her after they'd found out what Danny had done.

He lived with his grandparents, and had been watched by Spy High since his kendo days, when he showed an unnaturally good knack for weapons and most martial arts. When he was old enough, he was approached immediately.
