Katherine Sullivan

Kat Sullivan's life was what could be considered short, barely making her twenties before she was shot dead. Her life's path had come to a point where it was her only option. She got herself tangled up between a fight between two of Boston's gangs after being kidnapped from The Gargoyles by The Delegates of Themis to provide information. She nearly managed to get away with the help of Deveraux agents before she was recaptured and the decision was made that she could go no further. She faced her own death calmly, being shot by Julian Regent while residing on an island in the Bay. However death maybe only the beginning of a new journey.

Kat has reddish ginger hair which she has added further red and blondish highlights to. Cut in a bob style, the ends of her hair flick out naturally, which she likes. She has pale green eyes and a slightly pointed nose. Her skin appears pale due to her red hair, which she gets from her American-Irish family. She is 5'6" tall, and is slightly less than average weight for her height.

She has a very volatile nature and doesn't like doing things that she doesn't agree with herself, but most of the time this isn't really an issue for her. She also has a very charming nature to people she hasn't met before, and can very much wrap people around her little finger. For her this sadly doesn't work on her parents, who already know about her little tricks and never particularly let her have her own way, leading to many family arguments and her eventual departure from her family.

Kat grew up in Dorchester, Boston, in an apartment with her mother, father and younger brother. She had a very unstable relationship with her parents, which led to her being kicked out of the apartment numerous times, normally at least once a week. The family never had much money and was always short of cash. Eventually Kat was sick of not having the latest stuff and started conning it out of people on the streets around her. Fixing card games was her speciality and she rarely got caught. One time when she was fifteen she got kicked out of the apartment by her mother and bumped into Andrea Costigan from upstairs, who she vaguely recognised. They soon became firm friends. As she got older she graduated from fixing card games, and started conning people out of money straight off by winning them over. Eventually, when she was seventeen, her mother and father found out and kicked her out of the apartment for good. Kat didn't mind and was glad to get out of there. She's rarely seen them since. She found a bed-sit to live in nearby and dropped out of school, living on the small cons she made during the week. She stayed friends with Andrea even after she left home. It was only when Andrea told her about her possible father working for the Gargoyles that Kat told her that she had heard of them and that she could get into contact with them. Soon after, both Kat and Andrea joined the criminal organisation.

As Andrea rose through the ranks Kat stayed where she was. She didn't want to progress into more criminal activities, just happy with her being a con artist. It soon became clear to Kat that the reason she had joined the Gargoyles didn't seem valid anymore. Andy didn't need her protection anymore yet Kat was trapped in the Gargoyles with no clear way out.

It wasn't until she was kidnapped by rival gang, The Delegates of Themis, that she saw her opportunity. Her spirits weren't raised for long before she realised she was now basically a prisoner. She couldn't flee from Themist because they offer her the protection from the price that had been placed on her head by her former best friend.

The turning point in her life was when Sydney Rahal was assigned a deep cover operation within Themis. Jennifer gave her the opportunities she needed, like when Andy kidnapped her little brother to draw her out of her supposed hiding. Without Jennifer, Kat wouldn't have been able to reach her brother in time. This was the last time that she saw Andy, who stated that if she saw her again she would kill her, and Ciaran, who's life Kat walked out of at his own request and for his own good.

She returned to the protection of Themis and was assigned another guardian. It was from here that she lost complete control of her life. Organised by Jennifer, Kat was kidnapped by Deveraux and offered a new life if she gave them information. Yet again her hope was dashed when she was brought back to Themis after a raid on the supposed safe house she was in. Julian placed her on Rainford Island, for her own safety. It was there that she was to stay until decisions could be made. That is why two weeks later when he returned, Kat lost her life. There was no other option than to kill her and instead of being angry at this she accepted it. Her body was dumped in Dorchester and found by one of her old friends, Frazzle Jnr.
